Paving way for career opportunities has always been the focus of the NIFT Bengaluru, with real-time inputs such as workshops, interactions, internships and graduation projects making our graduates industry-ready. The apparel industry presence in Bengaluru is one of the best in the country with many conglomerates namely Raymonds, PVH, Arvind Fashion and Lifestyle, Aditya Birla Fashion and Lifestyle, Shahi Exports, Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra, Urban Ladder, Future Lifestyle etc., having their corporate and hub offices in Bengaluru which caters to all varsities in which NIFT students are groomed for i.e in design, management and technology. The Regional Industry Coordinator and a team of faculty members facilitate an interface amongst NIFT, Industry and alumni through interaction at various levels. This team provides a platform for companies, students and alumni to majorly take care of student’s placement, internship, industry projects and job opportunities for alumni on regular basis.

Like every year, NIFT Bengaluru becomes one of the hub centres for the centralised placement activity during April May. This year NIFT Bengaluru generated 502 vacancies through the untiring efforts and follow up with companies and alumni for placements 2017. The highest salary was offered by Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited - Madura Clothing with a pay package of 5.75lacs per annum, followed by Urban Ladder offering 5 lacs per annum. As on October 2017, 85% of the total registered students for placements of NIFT Bengaluru alone were placed with major companies.
