Overdue Charges

All members                                                 Rs. 5.00 per day for the first 3 days
                                                                        Rs. 10.00 per day thereafter

The due date will also be counted for overdue fines.

Penalty for Loss of Book(s)

In case of loss of a book borrowed by a member, he/she will either replace the same title (same or latest edition) or pay three times the cost of the book with overdue fines.

Penalty for Pilferage

If any member is caught carrying any unissued material out of RC, he/she will pay a fine Rs. 1000.00 at the circulation counter. The member will be debarred for six months only.

Dos & Don’ts

DOs

• Please keep your cellphone on silent mode before entering the Resource Centre.
• Please always carry your I-card while visiting the Resource Centre.
• Please leave your bags, hand bags, laptop kits, eatables etc. outside the Resource Centre.
• Please take care of your valuables including cellphone, camera, laptop etc. yourself inside and outside the Resource Centre.
• Please show your identity proof to the security guard at the entrance. Please co-operate if the security guard checks your personal belongings.
• Please return your issued book/s at the circulation counter immediately after entering the Resource centre.
• Please handle all the library materials including books, journals, PCs, scanners with care.
• Please refrain from unnecessary talking inside the Resource Centre.
• Please delete all the files created by you in the PCs of the Resource Centre before leaving.

DON’Ts

• Please don’t disturb other readers by talking over your cellphone.
• Please don’t carry personal books, magazines, fabrics, colours, cutters, scissors etc. inside the Resource Centre.
• Eatables and drinks are not allowed inside the Resource Centre.
• Please don’t litter the library with bits of papers and book marks.
