Foundation Department, NIFT-Gandhinagar has organised three days workshop from 11th to 13th September 2009. The workshop as conducted by Mr. Walter Emilio D’souza with the support of in house faculty with Mr. K.R. shrinivas, Mr. Nilesh sidhipura, Mr. Ravi Joshi under the coordination of Mr. Amar Tewari.

The objective of the workshop was to explore various media & material, develop their design & creativity skill & to present the work as showcase through puppet show by the students.

The workshop was started with 98  students divided in ten groups. Each group decided their own story with the guidance &   approval of concerned faculty & they supposed to work on own story in visual form by  creating various sketches, background, colour story on using the materials paper, fabric & thermocol,POP etc.

They also created various character & props as per required in their story. Finally they presented the story through puppet show. The complete show was presented under the guidance of Mr. Walter Emilio D’souza. The show was presented as puppet show on 14th September 2009 & the show was very well received & appreciated by the audience.
