Notice for payment of fees for the semester July-December, 2010
(Ref.: HO letter no. 1401(14)/AA/Stu. Fee Structure/133/2010
dated 17th June, 2010 from Director (HO))

For Semester III, V & VII commencing from 2nd August, 2010, students will have to pay the following fees. The last date for depositing the fee is 16th August, 2010. Fee with a late fine of Rs. 100/- per day can be deposited till 30th August, 2010. Non payment of fees after this date without official permission would result in the name of the student being struck from the institute rolls without any further notice.

NOTES:

  1. The NRI Students will have to pay other than Tuition Fees i.e. all other fees will be as per B (2 & 3), C, D, E and F (whichever applicable).
  1. For all students, Internet fee of Rs. 1,000/- is compulsory. Transportation fee of Rs. 1,500/- for M.F. Tech and Rs. 1,000/- for all other students are compulsory. Mess Fee and other Transportation Fee are as per applicable.
  1. Fees shall be paid in full. The students shall not be allowed to join the course if fees are not paid by the due date. Semester fees once deposited shall not be refunded. Any delay in payment of fees without prior official permission would result in debarring of the student from attending classes. One has to pay the fees before the last dates irrespective of their non being on the campus due to craft cluster/ documentation visits, internship, industry visits, etc. academic assignments. The fees will be accepted in Demand Draft or Pay order only in favour of NIFT payable at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
  1. The last date for depositing the fees is 16th August, 2010 (as per the Academic Calendar). Beyond 16th August, 2010 the fees will be accepted with a late fee/fine of Rs. 100/- per day till 30th August, 2010 only.Students, who fail to submit their fees even after that will have their names struck off from NIFT’s roll.
  1. Parents sending DD by post/ courier are requested to write full name, semester, course, Batch etc. and other details of the student on the back side of the DD. They should also send the fees in time and NIFT should receive the fees before last date otherwise late fee/fine will be applicable. Postal/ Courier delay is not responsibility of NIFT. 
  1. Students failing in the re-exams (January-June, 2010) will not pay any fees for the
    July-December, 2010 semester. They will have to pay re-registration fee along with other required fees while repeating the semester in January-2011. However actual fees for usages of Mess and Transport will be charged proportionately as per duration of stay from July 2011 onwards.

The students are informed that the subsidy forms can be downloaded from the NIFT website (www.nift.ac.in) and the following instruction may be noted.

“It may be noted that the full fee need to be deposited by all students before the last date of fee depositing. For those who submit the subsidy form, the reimbursement of fee equal to the amount of subsidy will be made to deserving candidates by the earliest after scrutinizing and verification of supporting documentation in support of their eligibility as required by NIFT rules.”
