Project requires following personnel on contractual ad-hoc appointment basis:
A: Consultant: -One Post
• Required Qualification for Consultant:-
The institute is looking for a suitable candidate for the post of Consultant. Candidates should be NIFT Graduate in Apparel Production /Fashion Technology.
Experience:-
Apparel Production/Fashion Technology: Fresher or 1-2years
- Industry experience relates to factory production side of garment manufacturing with knowledge of manufacturing, costing, production scheduling, establishment of specifications, quality control standards and purchase policies of raw material for manufacturing.
- Research and Community related experience includes publications in international journals, contribution to educational innovations, design of new courses and curricula, scholarships etc., working with artisans, crafts and mobilization of communities related activities.
Job Profile of Consultant:-
- Liaisoning with technical institutes (ITI & Polytechnics) as well as with establishing industrial linkages,
- To collect information on all the technical courses being offered in the State considering need to upgrade and make it industry responsive. Preparation of DPRs/Research Reports
- To suggest required changes and new courses in the curriculum in the courses.
- To organize training programmes for faculty development.
- To prepare teaching, learning and reference material for faculty training programmes,
- To coordinate with nodal institute at diploma and ITI level and to oversee their performance,
- To arrange faculty/speakers from the institutes, industries and professionals for the training programmes.
- Any other work as assigned by the Project Coordinator
Age Limit: 22 to 30 years
