Live Demos 

Papers should present original and unpublished research on a topic of relevance. A paper must be submitted with an abstract of not more than 200 words. The decision of the Publication Committee will be treated as final. The author must indicate the main topic of the paper. However, the Programme Committee may slot the presentation in any session of their choice. The accepted papers will be published in both digital and printed conference proceedings. If you do not wish to submit full paper you can opt for presentation only.  A presentation may deal with a concept or a case study, a new process or system, an experiment with a new or conventional technology or any other topic of relevance to the theme.  A proposal providing a description of the content in 350 words approx. may be submitted for reviewing. However, the final decision about inclusion will be taken only after submission of the full presentation in Powerpoint. The presentation will be for the duration of 10 minutes approx. This format will provide opportunities for interactive discussions and feedback. Few original proposals will be published in the conference proceedings (print) as per decision of the Publication Committee. All selected presentation will be included in the digital conference proceedings. Short videos or demos of 3-5 minutes are invited for uploading to Youtube by the Review Committee. This format presents an alternative to the traditional poster. The video may showcase novel implementation of any traditional technique or cutting-edge technology.

Archivists, Conservators and Librarians may present live non-commercial demonstrations of their experiments with old or new processes, materials or equipments to the audience during the Conference. A proposal in 250 words approx. may be submitted, along with a list of equipments to be used. The demonstrators should arrange for all the equipments required for the demo.

 

Submissions will be handled by the EasyChair system. You need to register and log on to the system on the ICLAM 2014 page in EasyChair.
