The Campus
NIFT Mumbai campus started on 19th of April 2006 which was inaugrated by Chief minister of Maharashtra.

‘Design Studios
The design studios on campus offer ample opportunity to students to experiment and innovate, while the laboratories provide hi-technology work areas covering real-time aspects of the industry. These studios are in the process of being set up.

High Quality Lecture Rooms
Class rooms are equiped with good facilities and also projectors for displaying presentations.

IT Savy Education
The success of fashion professionals rests on their ability to integrate Fashion and Information Technology in a meaningful way. IT support is a critical feature at all NIFT centres and the computer labs are equipped with Latest hardware and software.

Resource Centre
The National Resource Centre at New Delhi and the Resource Centre at each NIFT centre are pillars of information and knowledge management. Each Resource Centre has an integrated collection of print, visual and creative material resources: the only systematically documented source of information available in India for study of international and contemporary Indian fashion. The Resource Centres also provide information services to the design community, industry practitioners and entrepreneurs.

Girls Hostel
Girl students are accomodated in the building flats leased out by NIFT. The Hostel is situated in campus. The hostels are equipped with all furniture and fixtures. Each Hostler is provided  with the bed, mattresses, study table, chair, almirah, etc.  It has a Common room, pantry, medical room, 24 hours hot/cold-water facilities. Lady warden, Doctor on call and 24 hours security are provided.

Transportation
A 52-seator and a 35 seat bus for transportation facilities to the students.   For field trips, industry visits, etc. the bus facility is also provided.

Canteen / Mess
A canteen / mess on the campus provide food to all the students.  On payment of semester’s mess fees, students are provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner on all the days – including holidays

Fitness centre

Newly created Fitness centre is made open for students at the minimum fees.Students can use the gym in batches seperate for girls and boys.
