"Ms. Namrata Singh is an Assistant Professor and Campus Coordinator in the Department of Fashion Communication at NIFT Bhopal. She specializes in User Experience (UX) Design and has an interdisciplinary background spanning UX Design, Branding, Publication Design, Semiotics, and Accessory Design. With experience in both academia and the design industry, she brings diverse academic and industry perspectives to design education.

Prior to joining NIFT in 2022, Ms. Singh led the User Experience (UX) Department at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, where she contributed to the development of the UX Design curriculum in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP). She served as the Regional Industry Coordinator (RIC) at NIFT Bhopal from 2023 to 2026. Her research interests include Design Education, Artificial Intelligence in Design, User Experience, Indian crafts, and design-led innovation. She has presented research papers at national and international conferences on AI in Design Education, luxury Indian crafts, and folk arts.

Her professional interests include curriculum development, visual journaling and reading on design and psychology. She actively mentors students in portfolio development, career planning and design competitions, and regularly serves as a guest lecturer and jury member at academic institutions.
