GENERAL

  1. Library borrower card is not transferable.
  2. Ordinarily, not more than one book shall be issued on loan at a time to the students and four books to the faculty members.
  3. Members are responsible for any damage caused by them to the books or any other property belonging to the library and shall be required to pay the penalty imposed upon them by the Administration.
  4. Members leaving the library should stop at the exit so that the material borrowed or taken out of the library by them may be checked.
  5. Upon any infringement of the library rules members shall forfeit the privileges of admission and membership of the library.
  6. The members caught tearing pages/stealing of books will be suspended forthwith from using the library facilities and further disciplinary action will be initiated against them by the Institute.
  7. CDs and DVDs are not issuable, you can refer these in RC only.
  8. Mobile phone must be in silent mode, if any student mobiles ring in RC, will be fined Rs. 50/-.
  9. No stranger shall be admitted into RC unless accompanied by Head Librarian or library staff.
  10. Marking of any kind, underlining and writing on books or other publications is strictly forbidden.

PENALTY

Penalty for loss o Book(s) In case of a book borrowed by a member, including a student, he/she will either replace the same title (same or latest edition) or pay three times the cost of the book with overdue fines.

The Resorce Centre will be closed on every Sunday and Government of India holidays and any other notified day.
