Being the youngest member of the NIFT family the institute at Shillong has a Resource Centre, a key wing of the institute which consists of the Library Wing and Audio Visual Wing.

The new established library wing consists of various books covering Design, Technology & Management. The wing also subscribes to journals, periodicals and magazines. Slides and CD-ROM and Class Room Lectures are a part of this wing from where visual information and  Class Room Lectures  can be collected.
