Mr. Sachin Bhatnagar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at NIFT Mumbai, with over eighteen years of combined industry and academic experience in fashion management, international marketing, export business, and social entrepreneurship. Before joining academia, he worked with export-oriented manufacturing organizations serving international buyers, gaining practical expertise in global sourcing, merchandising, export management, and international trade. He joined NIFT in 2013 and has since contributed to teaching, curriculum development, industry engagement, academic administration, and student mentoring across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

His research interests include social entrepreneurship, sustainable fashion, ethical value chains, global fashion business, international trade, and the Indian handloom and handicraft sector.
