Brief Introduction –

Dr. Smriti Yadav is Professor in NIFT Raebareli. She is a Post graduate from SNDT Womens University, Mumbai and Doctorate from Delhi University. She has a keen interest towards research, explorations and teaching. She has guided few Masters level Dissertation and also worked as a full time Research scholar at NITRA. She had received an Anupa Sidhu Shahi Award (Gold Medal), Lady Irwin College, Delhi University for Work of Excellence in Research. She has several national and international Paper Presentation on varied topics. She had joined NIFT Rae Bareli in its establishing years, past 10 years she had worked in various capacities as SDAC, CC-FD, CIC, CAC and presently Campus Coordinator, Varanasi Extension Centre & Continuing Education Program Facilitator at Raebareli.

Her strength as a researcher and educationist inculcates research and innovation aptitude in students with respect to their chosen fields. Her area of interest for further research are Value Addition, Craft Studies, Performance/ Functional clothing, Sustainable Fashion and Wet processing of textiles.
