Brief Introduction- 

Mr. Vivek Jangra is an Assistant Professor and Centre Coordinator of the Fashion Design Department. At present he is pursuing his Ph. D. in the area of technical textiles from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU). After graduating from T.I.T&S Bhiwani in Textile Engineering (B. Tech.), his keen interest in textiles and fashion brought him to join NIFT in the year 2009 at NIFT, Delhi, where he completed his M. F. Tech specializing in Apparel Technology. He has worked in the Apparel industry (both in India & abroad) for 5 years and has been an academician now for approximately 7 years. He specializes in Elements of textiles, Fabric Studies, Technical Textiles, Smart Textile, High Performance Clothing, Design Representation & Technical Drawing, Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Craft Studies, Knitwear, Lectra CAD and Grading.
