Dr. Anita was awarded doctoral degree from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2018 and cleared NET in same year. Her PhD thesis titled ‘Biopics in Hindi Cinema’. She did Film Appreciation Course from FTII, Pune in 2015. She has been an academician for more than seven years. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Fashion Communication, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula. She has presented papers in various national and international conferences and published papers and book chapters in national and international books and journals. Her research interest lies in the areas of Indian biopics, Indian historical and mythological cinema, adaptation, diaspora and multiculturalism.
