Assistant Professor, Fashion Technology (BFTech)
Raebareli CampusDr. BALU MALOTH, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Technology, I have 16 years of Teaching Experience.
I have completed Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical engineering, M.E(CAD/CAM-Mechanical Engineering), B.E(Mechanical Engineering) from Osmania University.
I have published 18 research papers in various journals (3 SCI (Q2) Science citation indexed Journal (1. SAGE, 2. ELSEVIER,3 SAE)-Free journal, 8 Scopus indexed journal, 2 patents, 5 Conference)
I conducted research across a broad range of engineering and composite materials disciplines My work also incorporated ergonomics and industrial engineering principles to improve product design, workplace efficiency, and human–machine interaction. In addition, I explored lean manufacturing techniques to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. My research further extended into advanced manufacturing and nanotechnology, focusing on innovative materials, modern fabrication methods, and emerging technologies that contribute to improved performance,
I am interested in applying engineering and industrial principles to the apparel and fashion manufacturing industry. My focus areas include engineering drawing, AutoCAD, geometry, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, and research methodology, Material exploration and workshop Technology, Technical drawing.
Mentoring Experience
Apart from teaching courses, I have had mentoring opportunities during my Teaching career in the past 16 years Teaching, my desire to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in my students is not limited to the classroom. In mentoring a young professional, it is important to provide opportunities for the mentee to take part in team building, brainstorming and planning sessions, and to build relationships throughout the organization. Such processes and experiences are of significant benefit to the mentor as well.
