Dr. Bharat Singh is an Assistant Professor with the department of Leather Design. His passion for footwear design brought him to join NIFT in the year 2014 at NIFT Rae Bareli Campus. He has worked in the industry and then he joined academics as Footwear Designer having more than 15 years teaching experience. He teaches Undergraduate students specialization is Footwear Designing, Footwear Production, CAD, Leather Science.  Craft techniques etc. He previously served as Head of the Department from 2016 to 2019, he also served as coordinator of international and domestic linkages 2020 to 2023,  Presently having the charge of Deputy vigilance officer from 2023 to till date.
