Dr. G. Chiranjeevi Reddy is a Professor in the Fashion & Lifestyle Accessory Design (F&LA) Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. He has over 25 years of experience in design education and more than eight years of industry experience in research and development. His areas of expertise include product and accessory design, material exploration, packaging design, craft-based design, manufacturing processes, and design education. He holds a Ph.D. in Design Education and an M.E. in Production & Manufacturing Science, with an academic background in Mechanical Engineering.

His research interests include design education, product and packaging design, craft-technology integration, and industry-oriented design development. He has published over 20 research papers in international journals and conferences and is actively involved in academic, industry, and craft-based design projects. He contributes to curriculum development, faculty training, student mentoring, jury evaluation, and industry-academia collaboration. He also serves as a member of the T Works Design Advisory Council, Telangana. Served as a Member of the Board of Studies, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh during 2019. Twice as Chairperson of the Accessory Design Department, NIFT.

Dr. Reddy actively contributes to institutional, student welfare, outreach, and professional development initiatives. He conducts faculty training programmes and workshops and promotes experiential and practice-based learning. He is also a certified international yoga teacher and maintains an interest in holistic learning and professional development.
