Dr Priyadharshini K. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhubaneswar, where she has also served as the Centre Coordinator since January 2025. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, an MBA in Apparel Business, and a B.F.Tech in Apparel Production. With academic experience spanning management and fashion education, her areas of teaching and professional expertise include marketing management, retail management, global marketing, digital and social media marketing, design management, and management concepts.

Her research interests focus on consumer behaviour, Gen Z, sustainable fashion and supply chains, digital and social commerce, metaverse gaming, online buying behaviour, and fashion retail. Her scholarly work includes publications in journals such as the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management and Abhigyan, along with several conference presentations and industry-oriented articles published through Fibre2Fashion. She actively participates in national and international conferences and engages in continuing research development through faculty development programmes and research workshops.

Dr. Priyadharshini K. is actively involved in curriculum development and academic initiatives at NIFT Bhubaneswar, serving as an anchor, co-anchor, advisor, and curriculum development team member for programmes and courses in fashion marketing, global marketing and sourcing, digital and social media marketing, and introductory marketing and retail merchandising. She also contributes to student-focused academic and experiential activities. Her professional outreach includes organizing alumni engagement, artisan awareness, and student outbound workshops at NIFT Bhubaneswar. She maintains active academic profiles through ORCID, Scopus, and Google Scholar and continues to engage with teaching, research, industry-oriented learning, and academic development.
