Jayant Kumar is an Assistant professor with DFT, and specializes in production, quality and lean management. He teaches undergraduate and post graduate courses and work in the field of lean management and production related subjects. He joined the university in 2016. Before joining NIFT, he was working with garment manufacturing industry. He was the Head of the production at Gini and Jony Pvt Ltd at their Baddi division. He holds PG from NOU in MJMC and UG from NIFT-Hyderabad. He is currently pursuing his PhD. He has held the position of Center Co-Ordinator for the course BF-Tech at NIFT-Patna. He has also held a post of UI-Industry at NIFT.
