Mr. Ketan Dhillon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula. With a multidisciplinary background in engineering and fashion management, he combines academic insight with industry experience in fashion retail and management education. He teaches courses in strategic management, consumer behaviour, fashion merchandising, visual merchandising, supply and value chain management, entrepreneurship, and innovation management. He also contributes to industry engagement initiatives, curriculum development, and experiential learning, fostering stronger academia–industry collaboration.

His PhD research topic is 'AI-Enabled Integrated Digital Wardrobe for Post-Consumer Apparel Waste Reduction in India: A Consumer-Centric Circular Fashion Framework' which focuses on artificial intelligence in fashion, circular economy, sustainable consumption, digital wardrobe ecosystems, retail innovation, and consumer behaviour. He actively pursues interdisciplinary research that integrates technology, sustainability, and policy perspectives within the fashion sector.

His work has been presented at national and international conferences and recognized through academic awards, including a Best Overall Poster distinction. He collaborates with industry professionals and academic institutions to advance research and innovation while mentoring student research, consultancy, and industry projects. Beyond teaching and research, Mr. Dhillon mentors students in placements, entrepreneurship, and professional development. He regularly attends and conducts faculty development programs, training workshops, and outreach initiatives on emerging technologies in fashion education. His interests include educational innovation, leadership development, community engagement, and promoting responsible and sustainable practices within the fashion and creative industries.
