His primary expertise spans still photography, documentary filmmaking, and media education. His research and academic contributions focus on heritage conservation, development communication, architectural and fashion photography. A UGC NET-qualified educator, he previously conducted photography workshops and taught courses in mass communication and heritage tourism. He also collaborated on various projects for the Government of India and several national and international NGOs. Beyond core academics, his professional interests include street photography and producing traveling exhibitions or limited-edition calendars. He actively engages in community outreach by mentoring students in architecture and heritage preservation, blending technical skills with a broader vision for communication.
