Mohammad Suhail is an Associate Professor with the Fashion Communication department at the Hyderabad Campus. He was with the Design Space Department at the Delhi Campus from 2009-2018. He has been teaching at public and private institutions across the country over the past two decades.
He has taught in a broad range of areas from visual communication, animation, web & digital interactive media, immersive media, game design, visual effects, film & video editing, digital cinematography, film making, film studies, cultural studies, design studies, music studies. His research interests are film, music, comics & graphic novels, anime, visual narratives in interactive media, cities & urban design; in the intersections of cultural studies and design. He has also worked as an independent documentary filmmaker, communication designer and an animator. He has been a visiting faculty at the School of Media and Cultural Studies, TISS and AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia.
