Prashanth Cherian Kochuveetil is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design Space at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru. With over two decades of professional and academic experience, he integrates industry practice with design education. He has been associated with NIFT Bengaluru since 2009 and teaches postgraduate courses in experience design, service design, interaction design, branding, design strategy, and design management. He also contributes to curriculum development, academic administration, and industry collaborations. His research investigates consumer behaviour in sustainable fashion through interdisciplinary approaches that integrate design, sustainability, and behavioural science. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented his findings at national and international conferences. Before joining academia, he worked in the design industry, developing retail and experiential design projects. His professional interests include human-centred design, systems thinking, user experience, visual storytelling, and mentoring postgraduate design students.
