Bhopal CampusMr Rahul Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Fine Art/Visual Art in the Department of Fashion Communication, with experience as an academician and practising artist since 2013. He specialises in drawing, painting, visual arts, design, and visual communication. He completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the College of Art, University of Delhi, and a second master’s degree, Master of Arts in Visual Arts, from Ambedkar University Delhi. He also qualified for the UGC NET in Visual Art–Drawing and Painting. PhD (Pursuing-Visual Art/Fine Art).
His teaching and research interests include Visual Art and Design, Drawing and Painting, Visualisation and Representation, Digital Design and Communication, Art and Design Aesthetics, 3D Sketching and Rendering, 2D Animation and Motion Graphics, Visual Culture Studies, Design Representation, Graphic Design, Photography, Colour Psychology, and Contemporary Art. He received the Young Artist National Scholarship Award in Visual Art–Painting from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the academic merit “SAILOZ Award,” and some other Academic Merit Awards. Work selected and exhibited in the National Art Exhibition, All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi, 2026. He has also participated in many art exhibitions, research-based workshops, and Art workshops in the field (Nationally) from 2007 to 2026.
He previously taught in the Painting Department at the College of Art, University of Delhi, and at government and private institutions as visiting and contractual faculty. He actively participates in national art exhibitions, research-based workshops, and art workshops.
