Mr. Ranjeet Kumar Jha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Knitwear Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Kolkata. He is specialised infashion design, fashion forecasting, computer-aided design (CAD), draping, and sustainable design research. In the department, he teaches Design Process, Pattern Making and Garment Construction, CLO 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. He joined NIFT in 2022. Before joining the institute, he worked for over a decade with reputed apparel industries and served as a faculty member at institutions of national repute. He graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, with research focusing on the revival and sustainability of traditional textile crafts.
