Mr. Sunhith I V is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai. With over a decade of experience in higher education, he specializes in strategic communication, branding, design thinking, social media marketing, and digital storytelling. He teaches courses in Design Strategy, Systems Thinking, Branding & Advertising, Design Innovation, Fashion Promotion, and Social Media Marketing, while contributing to institutional communication, public engagement, and digital outreach initiatives.

His research interests span eco-communication, climate change communication, digital culture, semiotics, discourse analysis, branding, and new media. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mass Communication at Pondicherry University, where his research examines climate change skepticism and denial through socio-cognitive discourse analysis and Baudrillard's theory of simulation and hyperreality. He has published research on political communication, social media, brand communication, and digital culture in peer-reviewed journals and has presented papers at national and international conferences. His work reflects an interdisciplinary approach to understanding media, communication, and society.

Beyond teaching and research, Mr. Sunhith actively mentors students in branding, content creation, and communication strategy. He has curated academic seminars and student film festivals, led institutional communication initiatives, and contributed to editorial and community media projects. His interests extend to filmmaking, visual storytelling, digital content creation, and public communication, and he is committed to fostering creative, industry-relevant, and socially engaged learning experiences.
