Mr.Sureshkumar Duraisamy is an Associate Professor, currently in Knitwear Design department. He joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology in the year 2009. He is specialized in teaching subjects like Fibers, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing, Printing, Finishing, Operation Research, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Testing, etc.

He has served as the Center Coordinator of the Department of Fashion Technology from 2010 to 2014. He has served as the Project Coordinator from 2014 to 2017. He has served as the Center Coordinator of Foundation Programme from 2018 to 2021. He has served as the Center Coordinator of the Knitwear Design department from 2025 to 2026.

His area of interest in research is Sustainable Textiles.
