His teaching interests encompass Material Manipulation and Expression, Technical Drawing, CAD (2D/3D), Manufacturing Processes, Smart Mechanisms, and Product Innovation. He is particularly focused on the design and development of furniture, interior products, home décor, and lifestyle accessories, while promoting the integration of modern technologies, digital design tools, and advanced manufacturing practices within design and fashion education. His approach emphasizes bridging creativity with technical knowledge to foster innovation and industry-relevant learning since 2014.

His academic and research background is in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Thermal Engineering and Solar Energy. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur. Through his research work, he aims to contribute to the development of innovative and environmentally sustainable thermal systems for diverse industrial applications.

Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory at the Kolkata campus. He also held additional administrative responsibilities as a CC (Center Coordinator) and SDAC (Student Development Activity Coordinator).
