Ms. Baisakhi Dalapati is Assistant Professor of Fashion Communication and specializes in Print Media Content and Mass Communication. She teaches undergraduate courses. She joined the Institute in 2022. She previously served as Assistant Professor at Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram, Haryana, from 2019 to 2022. Before joining academics, she was a Senior Journalist at United News of India, New Delhi, from 2006 to 2015. She holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and has qualified NET in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Her research areas mainly focus on pedagogy, New Media, fashion in print media, and the influence of social media on fashion, among others. Teaching is her passion, and she enjoys interacting with students and faculty to understand their perspectives across various areas of knowledge.
