Hemachalaeswari Chandraseakaran is a fashion and textile academician with extensive experience in teaching, research, and professional practice. She graduated from the University of Madras and further pursued her Master of Science and Master of Philosophy in Textile Science and Fashion Design from JBAS College, University of Madras, Chennai. She also holds a PGDFD from SISI, Chennai, and has completed studies in Fashion and Clothing Technology at NIFT Chennai.

She is currently pursuing research on "sport textiles" at Mother Teresa Women’s University (MTWU), Tamil Nadu. She qualified for the UGC-NET in 2017.

With 12 years of teaching experience in the field of Fashion, she has worked with institutions including SSS Jain College, NCD, Raffles Millennium International, and FDDI across Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ankleshwar, and Chennai.

Her key areas of professional expertise include Pattern Making, Draping, Fashion Illustration, Garment Construction, and Textiles.
