Jalpa Vanikar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and serves as the Coordinator for International and Domestic Linkages. An alumna of NIFT, she holds a Master’s in Business Management and an M.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism. Her multidisciplinary academic and professional background enables her to effectively translate students’ skills and creative capabilities into practical design solutions. With prior industry experience, she is committed to nurturing emerging creative talent and bridging the gap between design education and industry practice. She is also a research scholar, exploring emerging areas at the intersection of Design, Management, and Technology. Her research interests focus on understanding evolving consumer, market, branding and communication trends, with the aim of contributing to contemporary design education and practice in a rapidly changing environment.
