Hyderabad CampusMs. Manpreet Kushwaha is an assistant professor in the Department of Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories at NIFT Hyderabad, where she brings together art, design, technology, and education to create meaningful learning experiences. With over 12 years of academic and professional experience, she specializes in product design, lifestyle accessories, design thinking, visualization, and user-centered design. Trained as an artist at Sir J.J. School of Art and later as a designer at NIFT Mumbai, she believes that great design emerges at the intersection of creativity, empathy, and innovation. Her teaching philosophy encourages students to question, explore, experiment, and discover their unique design voice.
Her research explores the evolving relationship between learners and digital environments. As a doctoral researcher at Banasthali Vidyapith, she investigates how UX/UI design can better support the psychological and learning needs of Generation Z students in design education. Her work contributes to the development of learner-centered digital learning frameworks and reflects her broader interest in human-centered design, digital pedagogy, and educational innovation. She has presented and published her research at national and international forums.
Beyond the classroom, she is a mentor, artist, storyteller, and lifelong learner. She enjoys sketching, photography, creative exploration, and engaging with communities through design. What distinguishes her work is a genuine commitment to nurturing young minds and transforming classrooms into spaces where curiosity is celebrated, creativity flourishes, and every learner feels inspired to grow.
