Ms. Nandita Kohli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory Design at NIFT Kangra. With over 09 years of academic experience, she has a strong academic foundation in Computer Science and Engineering, complemented by expertise in design education and emerging technologies.
Her areas of specialization include Image Processing, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, User Experience (UX) Design, Web Design, and Research. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Creative Thinking Skills, Critical Thinking, Communication Skills, Fashion Trends and Forecasting, Design and Society, User-Centric Design, Inclusive Design, and Crafts, promoting interdisciplinary learning and innovation.
Ms. Kohli is currently pursuing her Ph.D. with a research focus on AI-generated deepfake detection. She is an active researcher with several papers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Design, and Crafts, reflecting her interest in integrating technology with design research.
Ms. Kohli is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur, and is UGC-NET qualified. She joined NIFT Kangra in 2022.
