Shankhalina Choudhury is an Assistant Professor in the department of Fashion Design NIFT, Mumbai. She teaches courses at the undergraduate level and has guided several master's dissertations. A NIFT alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and master’s degree in Design Research, her areas of interest are ‘Sustainable Design’, ‘Adaptive Clothing’ and ‘Craft and Culture Studies’. She has presented her research at several renowned national and international conferences. With her passion and nuanced understanding of the myriad aspects of Design, Shankhalina has been in academia for more than eleven years now. Currently she is pursuing her PhD from IIT Hyderabad.
