Assistant Professor, Fashion Management Studies (MFM)
Ms. Sugandha Suneja is an Assistant Professor and Centre Coordinator (CC) in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi. Before transitioning to academia, she built her experience in the e-commerce and digital business domain, where she managed digital commerce initiatives for leading premium beauty and personal care brands, including Kama Ayurveda and the Amorepacific Group. Her professional experience spans digital strategy, online retail, consumer engagement, performance marketing, and brand growth, providing her with a strong industry perspective.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of technology, business, and consumer behaviour, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, digital marketing, social media research, ethical issues in marketing, and electronic commerce. She is especially interested in exploring the responsible adoption of emerging technologies and their implications for businesses, consumers, and society, contributing to scholarly discussions on the future of digital commerce and technology-enabled marketing.
Outside academia, she has a keen interest in design, and contemporary culture, and enjoys reading on emerging technologies, business innovation, and behavioural psychology. She also enjoys exploring how technology, design, and consumer behaviour intersect to shape future business practices.
