About

Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum and Technology.

Rajesh Kumar Choudhary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna.

He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum and Technology.

He holds an MBA in Marketing from NIT Durgapur, an LLB, and a degree in Computer Science.

He also holds UGC-NET certification in Management, NCFM certification in Financial Markets, and a PG Diploma in Cleanliness, Hygiene and Sanitation Education.

With seven years of industry experience and over five years in academia, his teaching and research interests include Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business, Omnichannel Management, International Business, Social Media and E-commerce, and Big Data Analytics.

His research interests focus on consumer behaviour, sustainable consumption, handicrafts, digital marketing, and emerging business models.

He has published four research papers, including two papers in ABDC B-category journals and one in an ABDC C-category journal.

His publications examine consumer purchase intention towards handicrafts, sustainable handicraft purchase intention, the global outreach of Indian sustainable handicrafts, and the growth trajectory of UPI-based mobile payments in India.

At NIFT, he contributes to academic and institutional activities and has held responsibilities as Centre Coordinator, SDAC, and a member of the Technical Committee.

He is particularly interested in applying interdisciplinary perspectives to marketing, sustainability, technology, and entrepreneurship, while mentoring students and supporting their academic and professional development.
