Ms. Rimi Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong. An alumna of NIFT New Delhi 1999 batch, she joined NIFT Shillong in 2012 and has since been actively involved in teaching undergraduate courses in fashion design, with a focus on design processes, product development, and sustainable design practices. Her academic interests include traditional and contemporary textile design, craft studies, sustainability, and zero-waste pattern-making.
