Mr. Sachin Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and currently serves as the Coordinator of the Corporate Communication Cell (CCC). He teaches photography, visual communication, design thinking, and fashion image-making. With over a decade of professional and academic experience, he has expertise in fashion photography, visual storytelling, image construction, branding, and creative communication. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in visual applied Arts, with research focused on fashion imagery, visual narratives, and contemporary image-making practices. Over the years, he has held several academic and administrative responsibilities, including Centre Coordinator for the Department of Fashion Communication, contributing to academic leadership, institutional communication, and creative initiatives. His research interests include fashion photography, visual communication, visual culture, semiotics, branding, and image-making practices. He has published research papers in Indian and international journals and conference proceedings. His scholarly work spans fashion photography, visual narratives, visual culture, Indian cinema and web series, miniature art, branding, the rhetorical representation of women in art, and the documentation and contemporary adaptation of traditional crafts. Beyond teaching, he contributes extensively to institutional development through digital communication, website management, branding initiatives, exhibitions, documentation, and interdisciplinary projects. He actively mentors students in industry-oriented creative practice, supports curriculum development, and collaborates on academic and institutional initiatives that strengthen creative learning, visual communication, and design education.
