Mr. Vijay Kant Verma is an assistant professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and serves as the Campus Academic Coordinator (CAC) for the Srinagar campus. He holds an M.Tech. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology. His expertise lies in virtual reality and augmented reality-based immersive media design, web design, UI/UX experience design, artificial intelligence, and 3D modeling. He is presently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on high-fidelity 3D model generation. His passion for design led him to join NIFT in 2018 at its Srinagar campus. With approximately 10 years of industry experience and 8 years in academia, he brings a rich blend of practical and theoretical knowledge to his role. His research contributions include various international publications on artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D modeling, which have been featured in renowned conferences and journals.
