Dr. Yaseer is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Management Studies Department at NIFT Srinagar. He teaches at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels in addition to supervising research scholars. Dr. Yaseer has done his doctorate in Branding of Kashmir Pashmina. His research interests include marketing, consumer behaviour, and handicraft development.Over the last 15 years, Dr. Yaseer has coordinated various projects meant for the development of handicraft and handloom sector. Dr. Yaseer has previously been associated with Craft Development Institute, Srinagar for almost 13 years wherein has been responsible for leading key projects including MBA in craft management and entrepreneurship course .
