Prof. Dr. M.K. Gandhi is a distinguished academician, technologist, and administrator with over 37 years of professional experience spanning information technology, enterprise resource planning (ERP), digital transformation, and fashion technology. As Director (Information Technology) at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), India, he plays a pivotal role in strengthening the institute's IT ecosystem across its 20 campuses. Previously, as Head of ERP, he spearheaded the development of NIFT's Campus Management Solution, leading the automation of critical academic and administrative processes, including admissions, curriculum management, examinations, placements, faculty appraisal, and PhD administration.

A specialist in sustainable ERP implementation, Prof. Gandhi successfully led the development of software supporting NIFT's innovative 2018 curriculum, enabling flexible learning pathways through interdisciplinary minors and specialisations. His expertise extends to AI, project management, software engineering, fashion technology, and process re-engineering.

Prof. Gandhi is the author of Managing Turbulent Skies of ERP Implementation in Higher Education Institutions and co-author of Unlocking the Metaverse Advantage. He has published extensively in reputed journals and presented research internationally.
