Ms. Monika holds a background in Computer Science and Engineering, with over a decade of teaching experience and more than 12 years of research in the field. Her academic interests span digital image processing, video processing, surveillance systems, computer vision, machine learning, soft computing, pattern recognition, and design thinking. She has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers, filed three patents in the area of security, and authored a book with an international publisher. At NIFT, she currently teaches research-driven subjects including User Experience Design (UXD), Inclusive Interface Design, Information Architecture for Web, Design Research, Web Design for Craft Promotion, Design Thinking, and AR/VR.
