Prof. Dr. S. Angammal Santhi is a Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), where she served as Director of IT and Webmaster. With over 24 years of academic and professional experience, she specializes in fashion management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and technology strategy. She also acted as the Center Coordinator for Fashion Management Studies at the Chennai campus and for Master in Fashion Technology Bengaluru campus. She received her Ph.D. in Fashion Management and CSR from Madras University.

Her research interests include CSR compliance, minimalistic fashion, and gender mainstreaming. She actively publishes in journals and presents at international conferences. She leads impactful projects, notably spearheading the 2018 THICO Project to support Thirubuvanam artisans, which generated ₹14 lakhin direct revenue. Previously, she designed functional umbrellas for Chennai Traffic Police and BSNL uniforms.

Beyond research, Dr. Santhi holds certifications in Google AI, Digital Marketing, and Six Sigma. She demonstrates strong commitment to institutional integrity, having served as Presiding Officer for the Internal Complaints Committee. She is deeply passionate about craft revival, artisan livelihoods, and community engagement.
