Ms. Dilnaz Banu is the Course Coordinator and Associate Professor at NIFT Bengaluru's Department of Fashion Communication. With extensive experience in design education, she specializes in Website Design, IoT, UI, and UX Design. Apart from teaching, she's also Webmaster at NIFT Bengaluru, driving digital initiatives. Her expertise in tech-enabled design education and innovation has contributed to teaching, curriculum development, and institutional growth Her research focuses on Augmented Reality (AR) in jewellery and product shopping, exploring consumer behaviour, user experience, and purchase decisions in digital retail. She investigates how immersive tech enhances virtual shopping and boosts engagement. Her work's been presented at international conferences, contributing to AR, digital retail, and fashion communication research. She's also interested in UI/UX, web tech, and IoT, showcasing her interdisciplinary approach to design education innovation.
