Mr. Sanjeev C M is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru. He is a visual artist, educator, and learning designer with over 25 years of professional experience and more than 15 years of experience in higher education. His expertise spans Graphic Design and Visual Communication, including Calligraphy, Typography, Illustration, Branding, Visual Identity, Infographics, Publication Design, UI/UX, Packaging, Signage, Animation, Craft Documentation, and Drawing and Rendering. He holds an MFA from the Sarojini Naidu School of Arts & Communication, University of Hyderabad. His academic and professional interests include Visual Communication, typography, design pedagogy, craft documentation, publication design, and emerging technologies. He contributes to curriculum development, faculty development, and industry-oriented learning. He also contributes to the development of identity systems, branding, and communication solutions for NIFT, including outreach programmes, exhibitions, displays, institutional events, and international conferences. He actively mentors students and contributes to academic events, workshops, industry interactions, and outreach initiatives. His broader interests include visual arts, letterforms, cultural documentation, and design education. Prior to joining NIFT in 2009, he taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in fine arts institutions and worked as a learning designer in the e-learning industry.
