LinkedIn Profile
I am a marketing educator and scholar whose understanding of global markets comes from having worked inside international apparel supply chains, sourcing networks, and export businesses. My research and teaching extend this practitioner foundation into global marketing, international sourcing, and the marketing of cultural goods. My academic and professional work lies at the intersection of marketing, international business, fashion, and culturally embedded products, informed by prior industry experience in international apparel merchandising, global sourcing, export business, and supply-chain operations. I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, international business, sourcing, research methodology, and related management disciplines, while contributing to curriculum development, interdisciplinary education, and industry–academia collaborations. My research interests focus on the marketing and contextualization of cultural goods, international sourcing, global markets, and interdisciplinary approaches to creating market relevance and value. My interdisciplinary expertise in operations and supply chains strengthens—not replaces—my marketing identity. I am particularly committed to connecting marketing theory with real-world industry and community contexts and to preparing students to address complex global markets through analytical, applied, and interdisciplinary learning.
