Ms. Deepa joined the Textile Design Department at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kangra, as an Assistant Professor in October 2018. A trained Textile Print Designer, she completed her two-year Master’s program in Fashion & Textiles from Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan Italy. During her Master’s studies, she was awarded a prestigious scholarship by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
With extensive expertise in textile print and graphic design, she has worked as a Textile & Graphic Designer with renowned international and domestic brands, in Europe, and India. Being a NIFT alumna herself, and drawing upon over eight years of diverse international and domestic industry experience, she has brought significant value to the department through her specialised knowledge and professional exposure in textile and print design.
