Swati Vyas is a textile designer and academician, with an experience of 18 years in the field of design and fashion. She joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhopal, as an Assistant Professor in 2014. She also served as an Associate Senior Faculty in the Textile and Apparel Design Discipline at the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh, for about 2 years on lien. She has contributed to various publications and presentations in national and international journals, seminars, and conferences.

She has a keen interest and expertise in textile craft studies, surface manipulation, and print design. She has industrial experience and exposure to design studios, export houses, and design projects with both government and non-government organizations. This experience has helped her mentor and guide design students throughout her journey as an academician.
