Mr. Kabilan C. is a faculty member specializing in user experience (UX) research, product development, and contemporary design methodologies. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate design students, with a focus on human-computer interaction (HCI) frameworks and design thinking. Prior to academia, he held professional roles at Burberry India, San Andres Milano, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, the Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, and Srinivas University.

His research interests include user journey optimization, interactive digital systems, sustainable product design, and socio-cultural design, with a focus on human-centered systems, multi-platform accessibility, and consumer behavior. He has contributed to curriculum development and evaluated regional craft development initiatives.

Beyond the classroom, he mentors students, serves on academic and institutional committees, and leads outreach workshops for aspiring designers. He maintains active ties with professional bodies and industry partners, reflecting his ongoing commitment to bridging academia and industry.
