Mr. Yedu Rajeev is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kannur, where he joined in 2021. He specializes in Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Entrepreneurship, and Retail Management, and teaches postgraduate courses in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he serves as the Unit In-charge – Industry & Alumni, leading placement and industry engagement initiatives across NIFT's 19 campuses. His work focuses on strengthening industry partnerships, enhancing student employability, and fostering collaboration between academia and the fashion industry.

His academic and professional interests include consumer behaviour, experiential marketing, entrepreneurship, industry-academia collaboration, and higher education management. He has been actively involved in institutional initiatives related to placements, alumni engagement, curriculum development, industry outreach, and digital transformation projects. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales, Cardiff.

Prior to joining NIFT, Mr. Rajeev spent over a decade at the Indian School of Business (ISB), where he held multiple academic and administrative roles. His responsibilities included managing learning and development initiatives, supporting research activities, and coordinating administration and outreach for healthcare research centres. He is passionate about mentoring students, building industry networks, and leveraging innovation and technology to enhance management education and institutional effectiveness.
